All of our staff working in Bangladesh provide services directly to the hospital and communities we serve.
BANGLADESHI Staff: Lutheran Health Care Bangladesh
Dr. Granar Marak-Executive Director: As a servanthood leader, Dr. Marak envisions a proactive future. He strategically leads, encourages and inspires the staff as well as their community to discover their full potential to transform lives. Mr. Marak fixes and restores things once broken and thus nurtures the works of God for His own people.
Presently there are 2 doctors and 15 nurses in addition to other support staff members living and working in Dumki, Bangladesh.

Mr. Henry John Baroi-Chair: Holding a Master’s Degree and a banker by profession, he strategically leads the organization in compliance and customer satisfactions.
Mr. Papri Devi Areng-Vice Chairman: Holding a Master’s Degree in Bengali Literature, with proven experiences in leading social development institutions playing roles as vice president in Dhaka Christian Credit Union.
Rev. Dr. David Tonmoy Biswas-Executive Board Member: Highly and technically equipped as a physician he is a servant of God. Also, as a minister he strategically leads and supports the Healing Ministry of LHCB in providing quality and affordable health services as mandated and called for.
Rev. Andrew Biswas-Executive Board Member: Holds a Master Degree in Divinity, as he upholds everyone involved in God’s work. Shares the power and blessings of God through constantly praying and praising His name with a thankful and joyful heart.
Ms. Rebecca Quiah-Executive Board Member: A university graduate, she celebrates more than 40 years of working experience with international NGOs. Ms. Quiah treasures her time with people as well as fellow Executive Board members, infusing strengths and inspirations for continuing God’s work among the communities living in desperate needs.
